Duration - 5-6 days (in the preserve) + optional days in Vladivostok
Group - maximum 2 persons
The most favorable season - November-December, March-April
Accommodation - in tents (one for 2 prsns.), sleeping bags
Meals are cooked on fire by specially trained assistant. Food products are bought in accordance with the interests of the clients.
Each group has specially trained guide, he is also a specialist in ornithology or zoology. The guide is responsible for excursions, meals, accommodation and safety. In case of need a rescue team goes to the group.
The tour does not require any special training. The tourist should be able to go 7 km in the forest along the path with a light rucksack.
The tourists should bring themselves: warm clothes (sweater, wind-breaker jacket), robber footwear (to pass numerous springs), spare boots, binoculars, repellents against mosquitoes midges. Tourist equipment may be rented at the Reserve (tents, sleeping bags, rucksacks, tourist rugs) - $2 per unit per night.

1 day

Arrival at Vladivostok. Meeting with the guide. Transfer to the hotel “Vladivostok”. Lunch. Sightseeing tour about Vladivostok. Dinner.

2 day

9.00  Transfer from Vladivostok to the Lazovsky Preserve by bus.

13.00 Arrival at the Lazo village, the headquarters of the Preserve. Lunch at the “Zerkal’ny” restaurant. Visit to the Museum of Preserve Nature. Meeting with the guide, discussing the program (taking in consideration the latest weather broadcasts, the nearest tiger spots). Transfer to the “America”  cordon (25 km) or “Korpad” (45 km) by jeep. Camping. Dinner. At leisure.

3 - 6

days

The further program corresponds to the chosen rout variant and includes excursions on skis (5-7 km) every day. In the morning the guide demonstrates the fresh Amur tiger footprints, and you will go along them, observing the signs of the tiger’s activity. The guide will read for you a “white snow book” of birds’ and animals’ footprints, explain you their behaviour. You’ll see (in some distance) birds and animals.

The aim of this tour – wild tiger tracking. The client will turn into the essential part of the tiger, go along its path, feel its smell and see all the nuances of its life – prey tracing, hunting, having rest, etc. The tourists may see the tiger, but since it is in natural conditions in the preserve, it may be dangerous and it is not the aim of the tour. Usually the distance between the tiger and the tourists is 2-3 hours, in order not to interfere with the tiger’s behaviour.

The tourists will have their breakfasts and dinners at forest houses of hunters. Some houses have Russian saunas. Packed lunch will be provided in the afternoon.

6 - 7 day

9.00 Breakfast. Transfer to Lazo. 

13.00 Dinner at the “Zerkal’ny” restaurant. Excursion to the Ecological Center of the Reserve, buying souvenirs.

15.00 Departure to Vladivostok.

19.00 Arrival at Vladivostok. Check in the hotel “Vladivostok”. Dinner.

8 day

9.00 Breakfast. At leisure for shopping or complementary excursions. Transfer to the airport. Departure from Vladivostok.
